01
Mind

It decides,
or refuses.

A verified gate resolves conflicting evidence into commit, refuse, or nothing. Refusing is a first-class answer — the system says no when the evidence does not support acting.

02
Body

Agents that
hold the work.

An open substrate where independent agents act with least privilege, loop guards, and human approval where it matters — built and deployed by different parties.

03
Spine

The ledger
that remembers.

A content-addressed record of every commitment and refusal. Forkable lineage any party can verify — without trusting anyone in particular.

the loop

Evidence in. Commitment, refusal, or nothing, out.

How evidence moves through Mind, Body, and Spine, and back Evidence reaches Mind. Mind produces one of three outcomes: commit, refuse, or nothing. A commit passes to Body, where agents act on it, and the action is recorded on Spine. A refusal passes straight to Spine and is recorded as a refusal. Nothing is not recorded and the loop ends there for that pass. Spine loops back around to evidence, since a recorded commitment or refusal is itself evidence the next pass can read. commit refuse nothing — no record a recorded commitment or refusal is itself evidence, next pass EVIDENCE MIND commit / refuse / nothing BODY agents act on a commit SPINE records commitment or refusal

Illustrative — not computed data. One pass of evidence through the three faculties: a commit is the only outcome that reaches Body; both a commit and a refusal are written to Spine; nothing leaves no record and the loop for that pass ends at Mind.

Every claim can show its source.

The mark to the right is this page's own content hash — the same mechanism that governs access to everything behind the agreement. Accountability is not a policy here. It is how the system is built.
